Since moving to Devon in 2020, Lizzie has been offering online consultations for Hypopressives and Core rehab and in the last couple of years has introduced in-person Pilates and Yoga classes as well as starting to offer consultations and massage appointments in 2 new clinics in North Devon.

Lizzie has lots of experience and knowledge in her industry and has been working specifcally with women on fixing their pelvic floor and core strength. Group exercise is where Lizzie spends most of her time, teaching a variety of classes and courses in the community as well as seeing clients who need more support on a one to one basis in one of the clinics.

Initial Appointment
In the first session we will talk a lot about you, your symptoms, diagnosis if you have one, overall health and well-being information and what you are looking to achieve. We then assess your posture and breathing patterns and potentially some movement tests to get an overall view of where you are at now. We will then get you started with the basic breathing technique for Hypopressives or some core strengthening work keeping in mind any restrictions or ailments so it is tailored to you. You will receive a report and exercise plan after the session.
Follow up appointments
After the initial consultaton you will have the option to continue rebuilding your Core and Pelvic floor with me in follow up sessions. Each individual is different so the amount of follow ups needed will depend on how you are progressing. We always advise at least one follow up appointment after the initial consultation so we can reassess you to see how things are looking, find out if there are any improvements or if you are struggling with anything. We will then revisit your technique and see how that is looking and if suitable, add on some more options for you. You can have as many follow up appointments as you feel you need, I am here to guide and support you to feel stronger and more in control.

Lizzie is a highly experienced and qualified massage therapist, she has trained with the London School of Sports massage and has over 23 years of experience. She offers a variety of massage treatments as well as her core rehab at Torrington and Barnstaple.

About Us
We are two busy Mums who have worked in fitness for over 20 years. We started our Fit Mummy classes almost 10 years ago to help women stay strong and healthy during pregnancy, followed by our popular Mummy Rebuild core rehab courses for once the baby arrived.
We soon realised that more women needed our help and not just postnatally. There is a real lack of core rehab options available to help women with prolapse diagnosis, pelvic floor weakness, post abdominal surgery - like hysterectomy - and especially the transition through menopause when symptoms that have not been that bad start to get worse.
Our main focus for core and pelvic floor rehab is to use hypopressives, then to add Pilates and stretches to get the core to function properly again.
We will support you, motivate you and we have lots of ways to help you keep on track with your rehab but at the end of the day you will need to make a commitment to yourself and your pelvic health to spend some time fixing it.
However, this doesn't have to take more than 10 minutes a day. Above all, consistency is key to improving these issues.
